According to the latest announcement by the bimonthly Essential Science Indicators (ESI) database, University of Bonab has been ranked among the world's top highly cited universities.
 
According to the Public Relations of University of Bonab, as reported in the latest bimonthly release of the Essential Science Indicators (ESI) database, there are 8,557 highly cited universities and research institutions worldwide across all subject areas, with 115 universities and research institutions from our country included in this list. Furthermore, in the field of engineering, 59 universities in our country are among the highly cited universities in the world, and UB is among the top highly cited universities in this field.
 
Prof. Dr. Ali Hajibadali, the Deputy for Education and Research at UB, initially congratulated this significant achievement and stated, "Undoubtedly, this valuable success is attributed to the tireless efforts and dedication of the university's faculty members. We extend our congratulations to the scientific community of our country and the larg UB family."
 
He continued, "In the past year, in the research field, we have witnessed good news such as the selection of 12 professors from our university as the top 1% and 2% scientists globally. We hope that these achievements and the self-representation of UB will continue in the world."
 
In conclusion, he said, "UB is one of the six public universities in East Azerbaijan Province, which has experienced development and progress in recent years. Currently, more than 3,000 students are enrolled in undergraduate, master's, and doctoral programs."
