University of Bonab signed a memorandum of cooperation with Ataturk University and Karadeniz Technical University of Turkey

For the purpose of fostering continuous communication with major universities in the region, University of Bonab has signed a memorandum of cooperation with Ataturk University and Karadeniz Technical University of Turkey
According to the Public Relations report, the President of University of Bonab continued its efforts towards internationalization, which is one of the most significant features of modern universities. As part of these efforts, a memorandum of cooperation was signed with Ataturk University and Karadeniz Technical University of Turkey, encompassing research collaborations, faculty and student exchange, and academic opportunities. The collaboration protocol also emphasized the cooperation between the research center, DAYTAM, of Ataturk University, and the faculty members and researchers of University of Bonab. 
During the visit to Ataturk University and Karadeniz Technical University, the President of University of Bonab met with the presidents of these two universities and engaged in discussions.
 Referring to the longstanding relations and cultural ties between Iran and Turkey, the President of University of Bonab remarked that Iran and Turkey share abundant cultural similarities, including historical links, a common language, religion, customs, and traditions. These cultural ties have fostered a strong connection between the two nations.
Prof. Mojtaba Abbassian, the President of University of Bonab, considers establishing continuous and constructive relationships with major universities around the world as one of the key features of our university. He stated that as one of the next generation universities, University of Bonab is keen on international collaborations with prominent universities, particularly with Turkish universities, aiming to foster faculty and student exchanges and academic opportunities. 
Prof. Abbassian continued by highlighting the significant progress University of Bonab has made in various fields in recent years. The selection of ten percent of faculty members as top scholars in the world's one and two percent is considered a historical event, and he expressed hope for this trend to continue in the future. 
The President of University of Bonab regarded the high industrial capacity in Bonab city as an excellent opportunity for continuous collaboration between academia and industry. He emphasized that Bonab city is the second industrial and commercial city in East Azerbaijan province after Tabriz. The large industries located in this city are highly interested in collaborating with University of Bonab, which has dedicated itself to the industry-focused mission of addressing technological challenges. 
The President of Ataturk University, Prof. Omer Çomakli positively evaluated the relationship with Iranian universities and particularly praised the collaboration with University of Bonab. He stated that Ataturk University has made remarkable scientific and research advancements in recent years and is prepared for comprehensive cooperation with University of Bonab in various fields.
 
Prof. Hamdullah Çuvalcı, the President of Karadeniz Technical University in Turkey, emphasized that the educational and research agreements foster friendly ties between communities. He stated that Turkey and Iran are neighboring countries with deep-rooted histories in the region, and universities act as scientific bridges that aim to strengthen these historical relationships.
 
Following the signing of the cooperation agreement, the President of University of Bonab and the accompanying delegation visited various centers and faculties, including the Research and Technology Application Center of Eastern Anatolia (DAYTAM), the Center for Biodiversity Research and Application, and the faculties of Engineering and Sciences at both universities. They find out information from the unit managers about the facilities, equipment, and services offered by these centers.
