The first joint international workshop between University of Bonab and Atatürk University in Turkey, hosted by Atatürk University was held on November 28-30 with the participation of scientists and mathematical experts from different countries around the world.
On the first day of this international workshop, a meeting was held between the University of Bonab expedition team and the faculty members of the Ataturk University’s Math Department. Faculty members of the two universities discussed their areas of expertise by introducing their fields of expertise and areas of work.
 
Dr. Mir Sajjad Hashemi, head of the workshop, expressed his satisfaction with the relations between the two universities and expressed that: In recent years, the University of Bonab and Ataturk University have developed their academic relations to the highest level and we hope that the cooperation will continue in the coming years.
 
Dr. Abdullah Kopuzlu head of the workshop, after welcoming the participants to the second day of the international workshop, he evaluated it well to hold such scientific events among neighboring universities and hoped that such scientific events will be continued between two Universities.
 
Dr. Hossein Piri, President of University of Bonab, firstly, thanked the President of Ataturk University, the organizers of this great scientific event, the participants of this international workshop, and then presented a brief report on University of Bonab and the Potentialities of the two universities.
 
He further expressed his satisfaction with the cooperation between the two universities and expressed hope that with the launch of the first international workshop between University of Bonab and Ataturk University the collaboration between the two universities would be further enhanced.
 
Dr. Omer Comakli, President of Atatürk University of Turkey, after welcoming the participants to the workshop, praised Atatürk University's approach in international cooperation and said: "Good things have happened between the two universities after the cooperation agreements. And the University of Bonab has great potential and we are willing to expand the scientific and research cooperation between the two universities."
 
It should be noted that Dr. Mustafa Aggul America's Michigan University,  Dr. Mir Sajjad Hashemi from University of Bonab and Dr. Mehrdad Lakestani from university of Tabriz as  the invited speakers of the first part of this international workshop  as well as  Dr. Saeed Abbasbandi from  Imam Khomeini International University of Qazvin, Dr. Erhan Coskun from Technical University of Karadeniz, Dr. Ali Farajzadeh from Razi University of Kermanshah and Dr. Ibrahin Unal from Middle East University of Turkey were invited speakers  in the second part of this scientific event , and on the third day of this international workshop , Dr. Sedaghat Shahmorad and Dr. Fariba Bahrami from Tabriz University, Dr. Kemal  Soltanov from Turkey's Igdir University, Dr Fahd Jara from Chankaya University delivered lectures.
 
At the end, Dr. Monireh Nosrati, Dr. Ali Haji Badali, and Dr. Hojat Afshari as faculty members of the Mathematics Department at University of Bonab gave a short lecture, and Dr. Hossein Piri was awarded a certificate of appreciation by President of Atatürk University and the executive board of the workshop.
 
It is worth mentioning that University of Bonab, as one of the six state universities of East Azerbaijan province; in recent years, has taken a major step forward in the field of scientific diplomacy by holding agreements with more than 15 scientific and research agreements with prestigious European and Asian universities.
