For the third year in a row, University of Bonab have achieved international acclaim by securing positions among the top 1% of highly cited scientists, while an impressive six faculty members have earned recognition in the top 2% category.
According to the report of the Islamic World Science and Technology Monitoring and Citation Institute (ISC), two faculty members from the University of Bonab have achieved international acclaim by securing positions among the top 1% of highly cited scientists, while an impressive six faculty members have earned recognition in the top 2% category. This noteworthy achievement underscores the university's commitment to research excellence and scholarly impact on a global scale.
According to the Public Relations Office of the University, based on the report from the ISC, Dr. Ali Ahmadian and Dr. Seyed Nojavan, members of the faculty in the Electrical and Energy Engineering Department at University of Bonab, have been recognized among the top 1% of highly cited scientists. Six members of the university's academic staff have also been included in the top 2% of distinguished researchers globally, as per the ranking published in October 2023 on the Elsevier scientific platform.
In a noteworthy achievement for Iran, 2,141 Iranian scientists from various disciplines and sub-disciplines across 22 scientific fields secured places among the world's top researchers. According to the Public Relations Office of University of Bonab, based on the report released by the ISC, 2,138 Iranian researchers achieved recognition in the top 2% of highly cited researchers worldwide, considering their one-year citation performance.
Among the distinguished researchers are six members of university's academic faculty, including Dr. Sahar Zinatloo (Chemical Engineering), Dr. Seyed Nojavan (Electrical Engineering), Dr. Ali Ahmadian (Electrical Engineering), Dr. Marzieh Ranjbar Mohammadi (Textile Engineering), Dr. Mohammad Ali Mohtadi (Mechanical Engineering), and Dr. Mehdi Hossein Zadeh Aqdam (Computer Engineering).
