We are pleased to announce the official call for submissions for the 40th Khwarizmi International Award (KIA), organized by the Iranian Research Organization for Science and Technology (IROST) under the Ministry of Science, Research, and Technology.
Named in honor of the distinguished mathematician and astronomer Muhammad ibn Musa al-Khwarizmi, this award serves as a global platform to recognize outstanding achievements in science and technology.

This year’s edition includes a special recognition for the “Outstanding R&D Unit of Iranian Industries” and special prizes for national impactful projects in the fields of Water, Energy, and Environment.
